My poster is advertising the font Letter Gothic Std. I designed it his way because the word Gothic spoke to me as being very dark and gray. I ended up changing my poster from being colorful to dark because my first idea did not fit very well. I liked the poster because of how it was fading throughout the poster. The white, gray, and black mix together well through the fade. What I didn't like was the format, it looks a little odd at first glance, but I think that will help get people's attention.
I would have liked to see the whole font family - not just the name of the font. Creating a poster is a way of "advertising" something or drawing attention to an event. In this case, the event was the font family.
